Beth Heitmann has been with the Houston, Texas law firm of Pagel, Davis & Hill ("PDH"), a Professional Corporation, since 2007. Prior to her work at PDH, Beth worked as a construction consultant focusing on construction finance, inspection, risk management and due diligence operations. At PDH, she provides professional services related to construction and real estate matters. She works directly under the firm’s partners to advise PDH clients on many important business decisions.
Areas of Practice
The types of services she provides clients include:
- Contract review and negotiation (subcontracts and material supply contracts for both individual projects and master agreements for revolving contracts and purchase orders
- Insurance consultation (knowledge of industry standards, contract requirements, required coverages, limits and endorsements)
- Collections assistance (Mechanic’s lien work for subcontractors and material suppliers)
- Construction document review and organization
In her years of 15 years of experience, Beth has spent time in both an office and in the construction field. She offers a sensible approach to educating our clients on relevant business and contract matters by translating legal provisions into more basic terms due to her understanding of the construction industry from a non-legal perspective. By providing PDH clients with this service, she allows clients to focus on providing better products and services and better protecting the company’s self interests.
